Review Policy

If you want me to review your book, first of all, thank you! I would be honored. But, fair warning, I’m pretty brutally honest when it comes to book reviews. I’m not going to give a book a good review because I was told to, or for money. Get in touch with me at admin@stumptownbooks.com. I try to have a turn around of one to two months.

I won’t accept self-published works, but I wish you all the luck in the world in getting published.

The ratings:

1 star – Hated it.  I have to really hate it to give it so low a rating.

2 stars – I didn’t like it very much, and I have a number of complaints.

3 stars – This book was pretty average or just ok.

4 stars – I really liked it.  I find that most books that I like go here.

5 stars – It was amazing.  I mean AMAZING.  It is probably one of my all time favorite books now and I recommend it to everyone I see whether they are listening or not, and I probably promptly buy a few copies to give to my friends even though they’ll never read it.
